Live Bands
The Sonic All-Stars are the premier
funk/soul/r&b tribute act. Enthusiasm, showmanship, professionalism
& talent are only a few of the reasons why they continually remain
in high demand. The band has been performing live since 2006 under the
musical direction of Don Tonic; veteran performer, band leader & founder
of Sonic Entertainment. Over the past year, Don has performed for over
& half a million people playing drums & percussion for the National
Football League (Seattle Seahawks Blue Thunder) & Holland America
Cruise Lines. Onstage, the All-Stars are committed to excellence. But
when the lights go dim they’re also known as warm, polite, friendly &
pleasant. The songs in their repertoire are some of the most popular of
our time, made famous by the greats: Etta James, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin,
Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, and the Godfather of Soul himself, James
Brown. Taking things back to the roots of truly live music, the Sonic
All-Stars are on the scene to keep the funk alive like no other.
